Ms. Murrell's Class
Hello students and families!
Welcome to 2nd grade!!
I'm Ms. Murrell and will be your 2nd grade teacher this year. This is my 6th year teaching. I graduated from UCF with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Exceptional Education. I also went for my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I grew up moving all over while my dad was in the army so I understand the transient life. In my free time I like going out and exploring Alaska and spending time with my dog, Kenai.
Our meetings will be every day. Each meeting will have a different focus subject.
Meeting times:
9:30-10 am- Morning meeting time. We will do a read aloud, check in with one another and work on some social/emotional skills.
10:30-11 am - Math time. I will teach the new lesson for the day
11:30-12 - Language Arts. I will do a lesson and an activity from the packets in the red folder
Expectations during Google meet/ Zoom meetings
Remember to mute your screen when you join the meeting. I will unmute you if it is your turn to speak
