  • Child Care Relief Fund is a grant program that helps child care providers cover costs during the COVID-19 state of emergency. Apply now by visiting www.michigan.gov/childcare.

Food Assistance

Home Internet Services

  • Spectrum/Charter: Call 1-866-866-4959 for free internet service for 2 months for students grades K-college.

  • Access from AT&T: A low-cost home internet package for qualifying families.

Mental Health Services

  • Northwest Michigan Health Services: Northwest Michigan Health Services has a COVID warmline that is free to the community. You can access a therapist by phone at 231-655-3867 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Follow-up video or telehealth visits are available for families or individuals as needed. Follow-up services would be billed to insurance. To learn more, visit: www.nmhsi.org.

  • Spectrum Health's Behavioral Health Support Line: To reach Spectrum Health's COVID-19 Behavioral Health Support Line, call 833-559-0659 and select Option 2. You will be connected to a behavioral health professional for support. This service is available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day for those 18 and older.

  • West Michigan Community Mental Health (CMH): West Michigan CMH provides behavioral health services for adults, children, and families. To learn more, visit www.wmcmh.org. West Michigan CMH also provides a 24/7, 365-day emergency and crisis mental health services. A caring, trained clinician is available at all times by calling 800.992.2061. If you do not qualify for CMH services, they will help you find other local services available to you.

  • National Suicide Prevention Hotline: We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress and prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones. To reach the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, dial 1-800-273-8255.
