About Us

The West Michigan Educational Technology Leaders Team was created in 2020 to support ed tech communication and collaboration between local area schools. We are a collaboration of educators representing local school districts in Oceana, Lake, Mason, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford Counties.

Our mission is to support educational technology use in schools in the West Michigan with collaboration, shared resources, and training opportunities. This will be accomplished with:

• An email Listserv to provide a place to go with questions and ideas.

• Weekly emails about new/upcoming classroom technology and policies

• Communication about training opportunities provided within the ISD/ESD

• Communication about technology training opportunities provided outside the ISD/ESD

• Providing a repository of training materials that can be freely used to support local teachers

• Quarterly meetings with the group to communicate policy changes and share ideas

• Provide resources to help districts plan for ongoing changes
