To begin with, our educators have undergone specialized training for our STEM Curriculum "CREATE2THINK," aimed at enhancing their ability to deliver STEM subjects effectively. This training complements our strategically designed three-tiered STEM curriculum.
The first tier focuses on CREATE2THINK units that engage students in hands-on activities, fostering critical thinking and creativity. The second tier involves the seamless integration of STEM projects with our existing ELA curriculum, CKLA, while the third tier offers a specialized course in Computer Science & STEM, as well as Media/Digital Citizenship.
To further enrich the learning experience, we employ instructional work groups for STEM projects, a best practice that fosters communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. Lastly, we've elevated our commitment by constructing a dedicated STEM classroom, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This specialized environment, along with a tech-integrated curriculum, serves as an integral component of our holistic approach to STEM education.
