“No, my dear,” she said. “Only you.”

Billy was speechless after reading Christopher Mulholland and Gregory W. Temple; those were the only two names that were on the guestbook. He didn’t believe he was the only one that ever came here to the b&b. Those 2 other names, those other people who were there 2-3 years ago, he kept asking himself “What happened to those guys?”

He knew that Gregory Temple sounded familiar to him and that he heard that name somewhere but his mind was too fuzzy to think where he heard that name. “W-what do you mean by only me there should have been more guest here n-not only me they must have forgotten t-to write their names in the guestbook,” he said while stuttering with a scared face

“You my dear are the only one who has ever been here nobody else” she said with a devilish smirk on her face.

He knew she was up to something not good, he quickly left the room and went to his room while she just watched him walk away with that smirk still on her face, while he was walking up the stairs he felt dizzy, his vision then went blurry he was stumbling he looked like he was drunk when he got to his room he opened the door then he fainted and fell on the floor.

The next day he woke up on his bed, he forgot what had happened the night before when he woke up he was still in the same clothes, he then remembered that he had a meeting to go to in 15 minutes while rushing to get ready, he opened the door and the landlady was right at the door with a tray that had a plate with eggs and french toast with a orange juice in a cup.

“Well good morning dear, I hope you slept well, here I brought you some breakfast. Let me put it on the table for you.” she said walking in his room putting the tray down.

“Good morning to you but I am in a rush right now. I have to go to a meeting in 2 minutes.” Billy said while looking at the clock.

“That is no problem dear well I will see you when you come back and I’ll have dinner ready.” she said with a smile on her face.

Then Billy left hoping he would get there in time for the meeting and luckily he was on time, he was there for a few hours and got back to the B and B late at night. The landlady was there sitting in the chair waiting for him in front of the fireplace.

“Hey darling you're finally here your food is getting cold.” she said with a smile on her face

“Yea the meeting was just long b-but i’m really tired so I am going to go sleep.” Billy said
