Galileo was born in Pisa, Italy, on February 15,1564. When Galileo was a young child, he went to the Florence’s Vallombrosa Monastery to be educated. He later went to the university of Pisa in 1583 to be a medical student. However, he left to go to teach math at the University of Padua at the age of 21.
