Community Service

I spent a grand total of 102 hours at Asheville Community Theatre, helping both during tech week, and as a stage hand for the full October run of the show.

First day backstage with the puppets.

Cast and crew dinner after opening night at Strada Italiano.

Community Service Evaluation and Summary

A running joke of 'define self' came as a result of this situation.

Cast, crew, and the band all together for a group photo on set.

This was Matt's response to the similar leftmost photo.

I was most appreciative of this portion of the project, as it further awakened my passion for theatre as I got to experience it outside of the school. The time spent at ACT has also finally lead me to develop a more detailed plan for after graduation, and solidified my interest in further education.

Another personal prop project.

Hard at work during tech week.

Myself, my fellow stage hand, Maggie, the ASM, Claire, and the percussion player, Philip.

This is a letter penned by the technical director at ACT, confirming and commenting on my time spent under her.
