Career Learning Communities 

Career Learning Communities are open to all ACPS students starting in 10th grade. Students have the option to choose one introductory course, then continue along the pathway with 2 classes in grades 11 and 12. If the Career Learning Community is offered at a different school from the one the student attends, students will take other regular classes the rest of the day at the host school. Students continue to attend their home school every other day.

Academies are not accepting new students. Academies are being replaced by Career Learning Communities at all comprehensive high schools starting in 2023-24.
