Welcome to Ms. de Leon's Page! I am excited to be at AHS for my fourth year. This year I am teaching Honors Geometry and Honors Trigonometry. Please feel free to reach out and contact me if you have any questions or concerns. This will be the page where all notes, homework and important information is posted. Students should check here as their first resource if they will be absent!

This year my office hours are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 8:15. In the event of a meeting, I will let the students know of the alternate day. I will be available during Patriot period as the schedule is set up as well as after school on some occasions. Students do not need to ask to show up during times that are regularly scheduled! If these times do not work for you, please let me know and we can work on a time that will work for both of us!

A little about me!

I graduated in May of 2016 with my bachelor's in mathematics and my master's in teaching from the University of Virginia (GO HOOS!). Throughout my time at UVA, I was an active member in the Cavalier marching band, Gamma Phi Beta and the Curry School of Education. I have helped with the CMB, so you may see me around with the band at various UVA events! In my free time I love to watch sports, bake and catch up on netflix. I also enjoy coming to watch your students in their activities outside of class. You will frequently find me at home football and basketball games as well as theater productions and music concerts.
