As a high school student, developing a resume is a great way to start preparing for the working world. Resumes can be used for job applications, to secure externships and shadowing experiences or even to help complete college applications. Your high school resume will likely be focused on relevant coursework, extracurricular activities like volunteering or clubs and any job experience you do have.

High school is a prime time to explore passions and interests through classes and extracurricular opportunities. Your experiences will tell a story of who you are and what you hope to do in the future. These might include:
Formal or Informal Work Experience including Internships and part-time jobs
Volunteer Experience or Community Service
Leadership Roles
Clubs, Activities, and Extracurricular Involvement
Awards or Recognitions
Special Skills
Industry Certifications
