Marching Mustangs
The Marching Mustangs Overview:
is a competitive ensemble for band and guard students at MHS. It is a course for credit, but requires members to participate in rehearsals outside of the school day. The ensemble will travel to several competitions throughout the state in the Fall and also participate in select local parades throughout the year. Students interested in joining guard should contact Mr. Strickler at mstrickler@k12albemarle.org.
Concert Ensemble Enrollment:
Marching Mustang musicians should also enroll in a regular concert ensemble to prepare them/work on skill building for the season. (IE: Wind Ensemble, Concert Band Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra, or Jazz Band)
