I am so glad you are here to check out what's going on in art and for those of you who are interested, here is a little bit about me!

I have been a teacher for over 20 years! Wow! I have spent 12 fabulous years at Hollymead teaching art. I love using the arts to learn about things. This is why I worked really hard to become an arts integration specialist to support all students in learning through art! Art is my passion and teaching art has been a dream come true. With an BA in Studio Art & Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Education from Radford University, I continue to learn more from my fellow art teachers and of course, my students.

I live with my husband, Jake, my son Nate and our 2 year old Golden Shepherd, Louie. We love to grow vegetables and fruit, we have bees and we keep quail! I love to read, do yoga, swim, make art and travel. I also love playing games like Guess Who? Do you have a favorite game?
