CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A student-led nonprofit in Albemarle County is getting hygiene products to women in Charlottesville.
“It’s something that I think makes a big difference in their lives and makes them feel empowered and confident. So if we can help out with that, it makes us feel good, too,” Brooke Blankenship, the vice president of EmpowerHer Charlottesville, said.
Two Albemarle High School students teamed up to create EmpowerHer Charlottesville.
EmpowerHer Charlottesville is a nonprofit that provides products like brushes, lotion, makeup, and more to women in need.
