From the Mule Yard:
We wanted to share with you the thoughts of some of our players.
We asked players two questions. 1) What was the best part of your Little League experience? 2) What would be your suggestion to make the Little League experience better for the kids there now?
We wanted to share some of their unedited responses (other than something personally identifying to them). We think you will be astounded by their honesty and maturity, and you might be surprised that no where were rings, trophies, and championships were never mentioned.

Coaches' Mission Statement and Expectations
Take a look at what our coaching staff believes are the fundamental mission and coaching expectations we have. We fully believe many of these are applicable from T-Ball to Junior League to organizations outside of the Little League, both in the spring and fall seasons.
From the Mule Yard:
Obviously, we believe winning is important. However, we believe helping build quality young men is more important. One thing that research has shown us is that praising effort over talent, intelligence, etc. can help create a better environment for young people to grow. Once we established that with our coaching staff, then the next step became defining effort for our players. The attached document is something that was created by our guys (not coaches) for that purpose. Click HERE to see what they came up with!
