bandi 's Class

We are so excited to be teaching a combinations class this year, IN PERSON with each other.

This is Mrs. Nandi's 19th year teaching at Brookside. Previously she has taught, 2nd, 4th, 4/5 and 5th grade at Brookside. She feels lucky everyday to be a member of such a supportive, collaborative community. Mrs. Nandi is a Nationally Board Certified teacher with a Masters in Educational Technology.

A little more about Mrs. Nandi: She has two amazing daughters, Stella and Caroline. Stella is three going on thirteen and Caroline is nine. They are full of energy and there is never a dull moment in her home with these amazing, crazy sisters! When she is not teaching she enjoys hiking, playing games, reading, traveling, cooking desserts (and eating them!), and spending time with family.

This is Mrs. Birgfeld's 17th year teaching. She taught in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington with grades ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade. She truly enjoys teaching students at all grade levels and feels the range of experience helps her better understand how children develop cognitively, emotionally and socially. She has her Masters in Instructional Technology and an endorsement in Gifted Education.

A little more about Mrs. Birgfeld: She has three children who all currently attend Shoreline Schools. Her daughters are in 6th grade at Kellogg, and her son is in 12th at Shorecrest. Her family loves spending our time skiing, hiking, swimming, reading and relaxing in the great Northwest.

We are excited for this school year and we will do our best to engage your children in stimulating lessons to enrich their academics as well as create a loving community to take risks and grow.
