Meet your teacher

As a teacher, I strive to create a learning community that supports and challenges all students. I seek to instill a love of learning and the understanding that success comes from hard work and perseverance.

I consider myself fortunate to be able to to teach 4^th grade, it is an amazing year in your student’s life. This is my ninth year at Brookside and my tenth year teaching. I have a Masters in Teaching from UW. I am a longtime Shoreline resident who is married recently divorced (but still very dear friends with) a die-hard Seahawks fan. I have a daughter in eighth grade and a son in tenth grade.
