Choose the prizes that you would like to use for the raffle and find Camp Committee Staff Member (Mr. Woods) to purchase them (find an organization to donate prizes to make extra money)
Meet with Ms. Gallotte to go over how money/prizes will be handled
Find classroom time to teach students how and why they should sell the raffle tickets- emphasize that all tickets need to be accounted for and CAN'T be thrown away. Each student will be asked to sell 10 tickets at $5 each. If a student will not be selling tickets they are asked to return their tickets to the front office.
Send out communication (emails/phone calls) to parents of your grade level reminding them to start selling tickets and how to get more if needed
Put together a booth to sell tickets to families during conference week
Send out reminders
Purchase Gift Cards that will be used for the raffle (we will be reimbursed from the ASB)
Ms. Gallotte will create the raffle tickets and get them printed as soon as prizes are on site.
The front office will check out additional raffle tickets to students that need more to sell
Ms. Gallotte will take and handle all of the money and will keep the raffle prizes until the raffle drawing
Ms. Gallotte can send out communication to parents regarding the raffle (emails/phone messages)
