About Mr. Begeman

Hello! My name is Wade Begeman. I grew up on a farm and ranch outside of Selby, South Dakota with three brothers. I attended Selby Area School K-12 and participated in many extra-curricular activities and clubs. I graduated from Selby Area in 2020.

In the Fall of 2020, I attended South Dakota State University. Go Jacks! I majored in History with a teaching specialization. I was able to coach middle school boys basketball while student teaching.

In the Fall of 2022, I married my wonderful wife in Sioux Falls. After the wedding, we moved to the west side of Sioux Falls where we currently live. 

I graduated from South Dakota State University in the Spring of 2023 and accepted the Middle School Social Studies position in Tea. I am the head 7th grade football and basketball coach.

As a third year teacher, I am excited to continue my teaching career. I am a passionate, organized, and relationally driven teacher. I want to challenge and expand the ability of every student, not just within my content of history, but also in life skills that will help them be successful moving forward in life.
