My name is Mrs. Sara Meekhof, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher for first grade! I look forward to the start of a NEW school year! I have been teaching for 17 years, most of that time has been spent in special education. This will be my 3rd year in 1st grade.
I live in Tea with my husband Rich and two kids. Rich works in Sioux Falls at Hebron Brick in the fireplace division, Sydnee our daughter is 12 and will be in 7th grade, and Roman our son is 7 and will be in 2nd grade this year.
When I am not busy attending my kids’ activities or at school, I enjoy reading, going for walks with our dog Macey, and spending time with friends and family!
I am super excited about getting to know each of the first graders in our class and their families. Let me assure you that my goal with to provide a safe, fun, and challenging year for your child. You know your child best and any information that you can pass on about your child and their learning needs is always appreciated. By working together, as a team, we can offer the supportive environment needed for your child to be successful.
