Throughout the year college admissions representatives will come to the school to meet with students. These will be put in the announcements and shared with students via email and in the announcements. Do encourage your student to meet with the college admissions representatives!

Do you have college recommended courses? If so, what are they for your major?
What test do you require, the ACT or SAT, and what score must I make in order to qualify for entrance?
Do you have a list of all the scholarship foundations that are connected with the University, if so, can I have a list?
How safe is your school? What is your crime rate on and around the campus?
How do you assign faculty advisors to students, especially those who are undecided about a major?
How many students commute to your school?
What types of extra-curricular activities are there on campus?
How accessible are professors outside of class?
How are roommates matched up?
What additional academic services do you offer to students, such as tutoring, career counseling, study skills, etc.?
What types of internships or co-op experiences are offered?
Do you have a study abroad program?
What type of housing is offered?
What types of intramural programs are offered?
Does each department have a web page; if so, do the professors have the weekly assignments listed?
What makes this college different from other colleges?
How does this college evaluate applicants? What weight is given to GPA's, class rank, ACT/SAT scores? What weight is given to recommendations, essays, interviews, extra curricular?
How is freshman orientation handled? Do freshman have advisors? How do freshman register for classes?
How does the college assist students with career planning?
Are freshman required to live in a dorm?
What are the costs per semester?
What are the extra fees?
Where can students go to work-out?
How hard is it to find on-campus parking?
How close are restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and entertainment?
