Solo/Small Ensemble Contest
This year, solo/small ensemble contest will take place on Wednesday, February 11th at Vermillion. This allows the student(s) to showcase an appropriate piece by singing a solo, duet, trio, quartet, and more in front of a judge and be critiqued. This gives a chance for the student(s) to show growth and voice development outside of the realm of a choir and show the gifts and talents to another judge outside of Parker. The student(s) is responsible for memorizing a cultural piece that is approved by the music director and given guidance and vision of the piece with the music director over time leading up to the performance date.
