NCAA Basketball Tournament Explorer Challenge:

The 'madness' of March is here! The NCAA basketball tournament begins Thursday. What better way to celebrate than to join in the fun--Explorer Style!

Brackets will be given out during Protime on Tuesday. They must be turned back in to your Protime teacher by the end of Protime on THURSDAY.

We will keep a leader board in the team area and winners will be announced after the championship game. Who will rise to the top? Can anyone pick a perfect bracket? (The odds are not in your favor. The chances of picking a perfect bracket are about 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808).

Bracket Scoring System:

Each correct pick for each round will be worth a certain number of points. The more you pick correctly, the more points you accumulate.

Round 1 = 1 point (32 games)

Round 2 = 2 points (16 games)

Round 3 = 4 points (8 games)

Round 4 = 8 points (4 games)

Round 5 = 16 points (2 games)

Round 6 = 32 points (1 game)

TOTAL POINTS AVAILABLE = 192 points
