Welcome to 2A!

Something about me is that I graduated from Tripp High School in 1985. Then I attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. I earned a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. My first teaching job was at Bonesteel-Fairfax School District teaching Title 1 for 5 years and then Kindergarten for 5 years. In 2001, I was hired to teach Title 1 here at Tri-Valley for a few years plus I worked with the EBB program and taught 6th for a year and currently in 2nd grade for the last 22 years.

I am married to Hector who is an interpreter, an artist and an illustrator. We love taking walks with our dog named Pepper plus traveling around the world. I love to garden, visit family and read a good book.
