Hello Everyone! I hope this message finds you in good spirits and loving all things FACS! Anyways, a little about me. I am married to Travis and I grew up in Brandon, SD with my Parents (Bill and Sheri) and one sister (Heidi AKA: Miss Mac 2.0). I attended Brandon Valley during K-12 grade, then later attended SDSU - GO Jacks for 3.5 years and pursued a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education with a Minor in Health Education and an endorsement in Coaching. Shortly before graduating, I accepted a teaching position here at Alcester-Hudson.
Which brought this 'big city gal' to Alcester, SD. I have been the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher here since January of 2015 (Feels like a year ago!). Along with teaching FACS, I am also the FCCLA Adviser, and Head Boys/Girls Golf Coach and I love EVERY minute.
In my free time I like to spend time in the kitchen, golfing, attending CUB games, watching college sports, crafting and completing DIY projects. I also am known as the crazy Pampered Chef gal when I'm not in school.
I'm also a crazy dog mom to the cutest yellow lab EVER, Beau! Yes we celebrate his birthday every year just like you would for a young child, its a big deal -- in dog years.
