Lieutenant Colonel Ross enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1997 as an electrical repair specialist until his commissioning in 2003. After completion of The Basic School and Field Artillery Basic Officer’s Course he was assigned to 5th Battalion, 11th Marines where he served as Battalion Liaison Officer, Provisional Infantry Platoon Commander and Headquarters Battery Commander. In June of 2008 Lieutenant Colonel Ross reported to Ft. Sill, OK where he served as an instructor to Officer Basic Course and Curriculum Developer. In August of 2011 Lieutenant Colonel Ross attended the Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course, upon completion he reported to 2d Battalion, 10th Marines. He commanded Alpha Battery from March 2012 until May 2013 deploying to Okinawa. He then served as the Headquarters Battery Commanding Officer and Battalion Operations Officer. In December 2014 he deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. In June of 2015 Lieutenant Colonel Ross attended Command and Staff at the Marine Corps University, upon completion he reported to The White House where he served as the Marine Corps Military Aide to the President. In August of 2018 he was assigned to 1st Cavalry Division (USA) as the Division Fire Support Officer. In June of 2020 Lieutenant Colonel Ross assumed command of 2d Battalion, 14th Marines where he served until changing command and taking over as the 14th Marines Regimental Inspector Instructor. He received a bachelors in business marketing from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Lieutenant Colonel Ross earned the Army Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with gold star, Meritorious Service Medal with two gold star, and Defense Superior Service Medal.

Senior Chief Del Real was raised in Chicago, Illinois. He enlisted in the United States Navy on March 1994, attending basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Excelsior University. He is also a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
Senior Chief Del Real’s duty assignments include USS Copeland (FFG-25), USS Coronado (AGF-11), USS Peleliu (LHA-5) as Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Riverine Squadron Three as Platoon Commander, Technical training school Instructor at Service School Command, Great Lakes where he qualified Master Training Specialist. He also served as Recruiter in Charge at Navy Recruiting station McAlester, Oklahoma, where he received station of the year honors. And Recruit Training Command Great Lakes Illinois where he served as Division Commander and Fleet Leading Supervisor for over 800 recruits.
Senior Chief Del Real retired after 23 years of military service. His personal decorations include Navy Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy Achievement Medal (seven awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation (two awards), Good Conduct Medal (six awards), Volunteer Service Medal, National Defense Medal (two awards), Global War on Terrorist Service and Expeditionary Medals.
Senior Chief Del Real will be starting his 8th year teaching as a Naval Science Instructor for school year 2024/2025.
