John Cano, the Lt. Governor of the T-O District of Kiwanis International, is hosting an essay contest open to all Key Club members. It will be a short essay with a max word count of 500 that answers the prompt: "In the hopefully near future, what will volunteering in your community after COVID-19 look like, and what will membership in Key Club mean to you?"
If interested, submissions can be emailed to johnmcano@gmail.com and will be due by THURSDAY, APRIL 1. The winner will be asked to provide their mailing address in order for a special recognition item to be sent. The winner will also have the opportunity to either read their short essay at the upcoming Kiwanis Division Council Meeting on April 24 at 11am or provide an off-the-cuff summary and speak more to the ideas they've presented.
College Scholarship awarded to Seniors who are members of Key Club. All applications are due by March 31st. The award amount is $500. The award will be paid directly to your college on your behalf.
