My name is Nipun Nagendra and I’ve always loved looking at the sky. What is up there? What is hidden beyond our small blue planet? All of these are questions I’ve pondered upon for years and It is only recently since I’ve learned that we are smaller than we think. A few years ago, my dad bought me a telescope. It was a beautiful and fascinating piece of technology. Only soon would I realize that I would discover a new passion.

Imagine the wonders that await us past the gravitational pull of the Earth. Since I was a little kid, I was enthralled by the wonders of space and the mysteries of the universe. Every time humanity thought we finally had space figured out, we would find something else to completely shatter all that we thought we knew. To me, that was always mind-boggling.
