Le 28 novembre:

  • Supply teacher students went to watch the "faces and places" show during science period.

Le 24 novembre:

  • Today we had guest speaker, Ronnie Grosnick from the OPP come and do a presentation on internet safety!

Le 21 novembre:

  • Students finished their assignments
  • A document containing all of the useful programs and apps everyone discovered will be made available soon!

Le 18 novembre:

  • Students began to work on their assignment. They were to research an app, website, program, service etc. that can help reduce one or more negative effects associated with techonology.
  • The assignment is posted on the google classroom with an example and rubric.

Le 14 novembre:

  • We finished our pro/con chart from the previous lesson.
  • We watched a short video on internet safety (found on google classroom)
  • We googled our own names to see if we were able to find any information posted online about ourselves.
  • We shared our findings as a class, and had a discussion about what information we need to be careful about posting.

Le 10 novembre:

  • check in
  • Introduction to our health unit on technology.
  • As a class we created a list of all the things we use technology for throughout an average day.
  • We created a chart outlining the positives and negative effects associated with technology
