Why you should come to the event?

Learning about STEAM is really important, especially in the earlier years of your life. It is a difficult thing for most people to find a passion to pursue for the rest of their life! We could help you look into STEAM to find that passion, and this is the best part about it! If STEAM is not your passion, you still walk away with the essential skills and knowledge about the five elements of STEAM.

FAQ

What?

In this event, students will learn about the different fields of STEAM through interesting demonstrations and engaging activities! For each part of STEAM, there will be a demonstration which sort of functions as a lesson, and there will be an interactive activity that participants will be able to complete themselves at home with a few common household items.

Where?

The event will be virtual over Zoom, which is in compliance with the social distancing guidelines for our area. The link will be sent to people who sign up and give their email in the Sign Up Genius. It is preferred that participants join on Chromebooks or similar laptops/computers, as some of the virtual activities may not work on cellphones and other smaller devices.

When?

Please click on your school page to access information such as specific dates and times.

Why?

We all believe that learning about the STEAM field should be accessible to all. With this event, we hope to give students a better understanding of STEAM from an earlier age. We also want to increase diversity in the steam fields with these events!
