Waipahu Intermediate School Library

Welcome to the Waipahu Intermediate School Library!

Here to serve the students of WIS, the library is a safe space for students to learn, collaborate, and explore their world through books and digital media resources. Everyone is welcome, everyone belongs.

The goals of the WIS Library program are:

Our school library media programs and services are a valuable resource for students and teachers. They are evolving to meet needs in a digital age and serve as 1) Promoters of active learning; 2) Curators of resources; 3) Developers of responsible and compassionate citizenship; and 4) Leaders in forging local and global connections.

For more information, visit the HIDOE Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design's School Library Services

We are very pleased to announce that the WIS Library is open for students once again! Starting August 15, 2023, we will be open daily during recess and lunch, and on M, Tu, Th & Fri after school, until 2:45 pm.
