Introduction to 'Ukulele is a course in which students can develop basic skills in 'ukulele playing. Students will learn how to read musical notation, 'ukulele chords, chord charting, strumming/picking, 'ukulele tuning, and more! Students will also learn how to play major scales, melodies and harmonies. 

Listening activities, analyzing and evaluating different styles of 'ukulele playing will be introduced during the course. Students will also participate in mini in-class performances of each song/tune they learn. History and origins of the 'ukulele will also be introduced in this course.
