MRS. KARI-LYN GUTIERREZ

My name is Mrs. Gutierrez (Mrs. G) and I teach 8th Grade Math and Algebra I. This is my third year at Konawaena Middle School. I grew up in Kona and am a proud graduate of Konawaena High School '06. I received my associates degree from Taft College in Taft, California in '08 and my bachelors degree from California State University Bakersfield in '10. I lived in California for 7 years before moving back home to Kealakekua to raise my children and be closer to family. I am excited to be able to work in and give back to the community that raised me. 🤙
