SIM0633 INTERDISPLINARY SCIENCE GRADE 6
This is the first course in a sequence of three yearlong inquiry and laboratory-based courses. Students will be working with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to study physical, life and Earth/Space sciences. In addition to learning about the practices used by scientists, there will also be a focus on the design and engineering process. At the end of the 8th grade year, students will take the Hawaii Science Assessment. This test covers everything learned throughout their middle school science experience.

This is the second course in a sequence of three yearlong inquiry and laboratory-based courses. Students will be working with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to study physical, life and Earth/Space sciences. In addition to learning about the practices used by scientists, there will also be a focus on the design and engineering process with special attention to how human activity affects our planet. At the end of the 8th grade year, students will take the Hawaii Science Assessment. This test covers everything learned throughout their middle school science experience.
SIM0833 INTERDISPLINARY SCIENCE GRADE 8
This is the third course in a sequence of three yearlong inquiry and laboratory-based courses. Students will be working with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to study physical, life and Earth/Space sciences. At the end of the 8th grade year, students will take the Hawaii Science Assessment. This test covers everything learned throughout their middle school science experience.
