Eligibility Requirements
Available at least 10 hours per week during the internship program
A current student at Pearl City High School or Waipahu High School
Must be one of the following:
CTE Level 2 Completer and enrolled in a CTE Level 3 course in the Fall.
In a Level 3 or Level 4 CTE course aligned to the students’ program of study
Completion of CTE WBL competencies evaluation
GPA of 2.0 or above
Attend all onboardings, professional development sessions, and sharing dates
Cannot be a student from Grad Year 2026
Student Internship Information
Required Virtual Intern Onboarding Date: Tuesday, June 2 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Internship Window: Summer 2026 (June 8, 2026 - July 24, 2026)
Deadline to Apply: Friday, May 15, 2026
Interview Time Period with Pearl City-Waipahu Complex: Week of May 18, 2026 – May 22, 2026
Required Virtual Intern Onboarding Date: Week of June 1, 2026 - June 5, 2026
In-Person Internship Showcase @ TBD Location: Week of July 27, 2026
Hours: 60 hours total (cannot exceed 18 hours per week)
