Chamber of Commerce-affiliated (CoC) Opportunities

Eligibility Requirements

• Available at least 10 hours per week during the internship program

• A current student at Pearl City High School or Waipahu High School

• Must be one of the following:

  • CTE Level 2 Completer and enrolled in a CTE Level 3 course in the Fall. 

  • In a Level 3 or Level 4 CTE course aligned to the students’ program of study

• Completion of CTE WBL competencies evaluation

• GPA of 2.0 or above

• Attend all onboardings, professional development sessions, and sharing dates

• Cannot be a student from Grad Year 2026

Student Internship Information 

Required Virtual Intern Onboarding Date: Tuesday, June 2 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Internship Window: Summer 2026 (June 8, 2026 - July 24, 2026)

Deadline to Apply: Friday, May 15, 2026

Interview Time Period with Pearl City-Waipahu Complex: Week of May 18, 2026 – May 22, 2026

Required Virtual Intern Onboarding Date: Week of June 1, 2026 - June 5, 2026

In-Person Internship Showcase @ TBD Location: Week of July 27, 2026

Hours: 60 hours total (cannot exceed 18 hours per week)
