My name is Ms. Sonoda and I have been teaching at Ben Parker Elementary for 3 years. I am a recent graduate of Chaminade University with my Masters degree in Teaching and undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. 

Starting out as an elementary afterschool care advisor, I have had the privilege to help and watch many students throughout my educational career so far. Although I started teaching during Covid, that didn't stop me from working with all of my wonderful students as we adventure through 2nd grade together.

On my days out of the classroom, I enjoy dancing (Chinese dance and aerial), playing video games, and cooking with my boyfriend. Although this has been a bit of a different year, I still find joy in everything I do.
