Last Day Fun!

Our last STEM project of the year was a fun one! Students were challenged to create a shark cage to protect a scubadiver and then see how many books they could add on top of it. It kept them focused for well over an hour and a half!

In the Candy Melt activity, students investigated which types of candy melt in hot water. Using their observations, they decided which candy was the best choice to bring to a hot summer camp.

The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!

After reading and discussing the story, The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!, students were given the opportunity to work as a team to put a puzzle together, write about their feelings on the first day of school, and create a way for the pigeon to get to school. Students really enjoyed this STEM activity!
