The Mokapu Elementary School Library is a place for reading, learning, playing, creating, and sharing. We support student success by planning and implementing instruction as part of the Mokapu Specials team. Library instruction focuses on General Learner Outcomes, literacy skills, research skills, and media literacy. We also provide resources for students and teachers including print books, ebooks and audiobooks, online encyclopedias, and collections of websites for learning and fun. Library staff coordinate several school-wide events and programs including semi-annual bookfairs, the Library Club, and the Nene Award program.
