Aloha,
My name is Victoria Cachuela. I am a student-teacher from University of Hawaii West Oahu (UHWO). Miss Evans will be my mentor teacher for this semester Spring 2022. I am expected to graduate in May 2023. One of the many reasons I want to become a teacher is witnessing the growth of the children’s knowledge and being a part of that journey.
I was born and raised in Ewa Beach and graduated from James Campbell Highschool. Prior to attending UHWO, I did attend University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) but then realized that being in the mainland was not for me. I eventually transferred home to attend Leeward Community College (LCC) where I completed my associates degree and discovered my interest in teaching.
Aside from attending university full time, I also work at Genki Sushi Kapolei full time. So I don’t really have much free time. When given the chance, I’ll try to relax by watch some movies.
I am looking forward to learning and working with the students in F2a and Miss. Evans.
