Hello!
My name is Giselle Corrales and I am thrilled to be a Student Teacher here at Hahaione Elementary School. I am in my junior year of school working toward my Bachelor of Elementary Education degree at the University of Hawaiʻi at West Oahu. I will be mentored by Miss Evans as I learn and navigate my way in the classroom to support the students. I'll be in the classroom one to two times a week during the first and second quarter of the school year.
I decided to become a teacher as I love working with students and want to make an impact and change in a student's life. I also have a cousin who is also a teacher and she has greatly impacted my reasoning for becoming a teacher. Ever since I was in my Junior year of high school I have been assisting in a classroom and I absolutely adore it.
I am from Kalihi and Graduated form Farrington High School back in 2014. In my free time, I LOVE listening to music, the genre I’ve been the most into is K-pop. Other than listening to music, I prefer spending my free time relaxing by myself while I eat and watch anime.
I am looking forward to learning and working with the students in F2a as well as with Miss Evans.
