Aloha!
My name is Chloe Kay Faustina and students call me Miss Faustina. I am excited to share that I will be a student teacher here at Hahaione Elementary for the 2024 school year and will be completing my block three observations with all of you! I am attending the University of Hawaii at West O'ahu, pursuing my degree in Elementary Education. I am super excited to be a part of F2a's class and can't wait to see what this school year has in store for us!
A little about myself, I am 22 years old and was born and raised on the island of O'ahu. I’d always dreamed of becoming an educator. Like the quote, "If you can dream it, you can achieve it" by Zig Ziglar. I vividly remember playing, “school teacher" with my sister and cousins at an early age and here I am now pursuing that dream. I also graduated from Waipahu High School in 2019 and started working for the DOE as soon as I graduated from high school. I have worked with special needs students for 3 years and then moved on to becoming a substitute EA in both special ed and general education classes. I was also a PPE for a year working alongside ELL high school students. As of now, I am a part-time teacher at Kanoelani Elementary as well as a substitute teacher. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, going to the beach, collecting sea shells, coloring, eating at different restaurants, and playing with my dogs Rubi and Peanut.
In the classroom, I will be assisting students alongside Miss Evans. My goal as an aspiring teacher is to be able to make a positive impact on students and help them reach their goals. I am looking forward to working and growing with students in F2a!
