ATTENDANCE POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING
Students are expected to be in attendance everyday of the sessions. All courses are in-person.
1 absence (excused or unexcused) will be allowed for a semester course and 2 absences will be allowed for a year course.
3 tardies will equal 1 absence.
Students arriving at school after 8:45am or leave school before 12:15 pm will be considered absent.
3 early dismissals (between 12:15 pm and 1:00 pm) equals 1 absence.
Students who exceed the allowable number of absences will be dismissed from the course.

Registration Process Summer 2026
Registration opens ONLINE on November 6, 2025 at 9 am for Current Mililani Middle and Mililani High School students.
Read the Registration Procedures and Summer School Information document found here . You will be asked to agree to this information on the registration form.
Summer School Dates:
Year Courses (24 instructional days): Thursday, June 4, 2026 - Thursday, July 9, 2026
Semester 1 Courses (12 instructional days): Thursday, June 4, 2026 - Monday, June 22, 2026
Semester 2 Courses (12 instructional days): Tuesday, June 23, 2025 - Thursday, July 9, 2026
No School on June 11, Kamehameha Day and July 3, Independence Day observed.
ALL COURSES WILL BE HELD IN-PERSON AT MILILANI HIGH SCHOOL.
FOR ALL DOE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Fill out the Registration Form found on the Registration tab. Link will be available on Registration page of Summer School Website. If you are unable to complete the form online, please come to Mililani High School Front office for assistance.
Registration Dates:
November 6, 2025 at 9am Online: CURRENT Mililani High School and Mililani Middle School students.
April 1, 2026 at 9am Online: Registration will be open to all other students, but is limited to space availability.
Registration deadline is May 28, 2026.
Current Mililani High School students will need to verify course choices with their grade level counselor. Please see the list of courses available for both remediation and advancement on the Registration Procedures and Information form.
The tuition for this year's Summer School for current DOE STUDENTS is still being finalized and will be announced at a later time. While we await the state's official rate, please note that tuition has been approximately $200 in past years. Once the final amount is confirmed, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to make your payment. If tuition is required, summer school registration won't be complete until payment is received.
FOR PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Registration will begin on April 1, 2026 at 9am. Fill out the Registration Form found on the Registration tab. Link will be available on Registration page of Summer School Website. If you are unable to complete the form online, please come to Mililani High School Front office for assistance.
TUITION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR NON-DOE STUDENTS. REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Check or money order preferred. Checks should be made to Mililani High Summer School. Please make sure student's first and last name along with course selection is written on payment. Payment should be mailed or dropped off at: Mililani High Summer School, 95-1200 Meheula Parkway, Mililani, HI 96789.

Receipts will be emailed to the email address provided when completing registration form.
ALL STUDENTS:
Parent will be notified if a class they registered for is unavailable.
Course Changes after registration:
Students must submit written or email request from parent/guardian to change or cancel original course selection by May 28, 2026. Emails can be sent to 216summerschool@k12.hi.us.
All course changes are subject to space availability.
For students not enrolled in a DOE school for Fall 2026, a letter indicating credit/grade will be mailed to the school you indicated you will be attending in Fall 2026. Mililani High Summer School does not provide transcripts, only report cards.
