XLP0010 LEADERSHIP TRAINING
This is a multidisciplinary course designed to help students develop leadership skills including communication, teamwork, and management. Student leaders develop and apply techniques of planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating. They will challenge themselves to become problem solvers and critical thinkers by analyzing school related and real world issues, then finding creative solutions. They will work collaboratively with peers from diverse backgrounds, towards common and individual goals. Students in Leadership will often serve as Student Government Leaders (much like Student Council). Some projects that leadership students will work on throughout the year include: Spirit Weeks, Holiday Festivities, lunchtime activities, Staff Appreciation, ISA Sport Events, School Assemblies, and more!
