Thanks for visiting the counseling resource page! This is a space for us to share resources to help support your family's social and emotional wellbeing. Please explore the "Resources" drop down menu at the top right part of this page. Parents and students are able to contact counseling staff for support and to schedule appointments during our office hours through Webex. For more information, please see below for our procedure on accessing counseling.
During this time of uncertainty, we are here to listen, problem solve, and help each other through this shared experience. Please contact one of us - email anytime.
The Dept of Health and Human Services has developed these tips for talking with our young people about disease. It also reminds us of what are normal and expected reactions during such times of uncertainty.

We still have more time in seclusion, and need to take care of ourselves for the long haul.

Aloha!
As part of the Department of Education, School Based Behavioral Health Counselors will continue to offer social emotional services to support students and families.
To do this in the most effective way, students and parents will be able to access appointments with the counselors via Webex. These appointments can be made by parents or students by emailing the counselor directly.
These meetings will be confidential and allow an opportunity for students to discuss personal matters. As with face to face counseling, there are some limits to confidentiality, particularly if there are situations in which a student is at risk of harm to themselves or others. In these cases, the counselor will act to ensure the safety of the student.
If you have any questions about confidentiality or consent, please contact your child’s counselor directly.
