Warm greetings of aloha to all of the parents, guardians, and families of our beautiful Ka’ū Trojans. Every day it is a privilege and honor to help motivate, inspire, and support your children to enjoy learning, develop their interests and passions, and become positive and productive members of our community. My name is Dr. Regina Blanchard-Walker and I am your high school counselor. I guide students through their academic, social, emotional, and career development. Students also seek guidance with course selection, personal challenges, college applications, and career planning, acting as a crucial support system to empower them and ensure their success.
This year marks my 9th year as a school counselor and my 9th year at Ka’ū High. I look forward to getting to know you and your children better this year. Please say hello if you see me and I don’t yet know you! This is my favorite quote: “It's not what someone says to you that matters, it's how you respond that counts.” As a high school counselor, I am dedicated to being an unwavering advocate for your children, offering consistent support and guidance through their academic journey, social-emotional well-being, and crucial post-high school planning. I look forward to empowering them every step of the way.
