The Kealakehe High School JROTC WaveRider Battalion is a leadership development program that helps students become better citizens, stronger leaders, and more responsible members of the school and community.

Army JROTC teaches cadets discipline, teamwork, accountability, citizenship, communication, physical fitness, and personal responsibility. Cadets learn how to lead, follow, serve, and work together as part of a team.

The WaveRider Battalion currently serves approximately 132 cadets across LET 1, LET 2, LET 3, and LET 4.

Cadets represent Kealakehe High School and the community by presenting the colors at selected school and community events.

Cadets develop focus, safety, discipline, and marksmanship fundamentals through archery training.

Cadets develop precision, discipline, teamwork, and confidence through military drill and ceremony.
Academic Team

Cadets strengthen their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork through academic preparation and competition.
The Kealakehe High School JROTC program is led by retired Army professionals who are committed to developing cadets into responsible citizens and future leaders.
