Our purpose is to provide learning opportunities that will allow our students to develop their building and construction skills, practice effective communication, work in collaborative teams, and grow into confident, caring individuals who are inspired to build better communities.
The Building and Construction Academy will provide opportunities for career exploration and an experience that prepares students for success in the work environment.
The Residential and Commercial Construction program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to sustain a career in all phases of structural construction-from project start to finish.
Students will start in Foundations of Construction where they learn safety procedures, protocols, and information needed to work in our wood shop.
As skills progress they will get to work on larger projects in our Residential Commercial Construction 1 or 2 that varies from creating a picture frame to take home to their families or a picnic table that is placed around campus to give back to our Kapolei High School campus and community.
We hope to see you in B&C Academy!
