The Natural Resources Pathway students have the opportunity to attend 1 field trip per quarter (see our schedule below)
All students are encouraged to participate in a minimum of 2 field trips or ʻāina community workdays throughout the school year
Mākaukau Checklist
Covered shoes or tabis (water shoes for loʻi or loko iʻa work) that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy (mandatory to participate)
Clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy

DLNR Division of Forestry & Wildlife volunteer opportunities
Healthy Climate Communities - every Monday, 4pm - 6pm & every first Saturday of the month, 9am - 11am
Hoʻokuaʻāina - every Saturday, 8am - 1pm
Hui o Koʻolaupoko - volunteer at Kaha Gardens one weekday and one weekend per month (see link for calendar)
Kakoʻo ʻŌiwi - every first Saturday of the month, 8:30am - 12pm
Kauluakalana - every second Saturday of the month 8:30am - 12:30pm
Paepae o Heʻeia - every fourth Saturday of the month, 8:30am - 12pm
Papahana Kuaola - every third and fourth Saturday of the month, 9am - 12pm
Waikalua Loko Iʻa - designated Saturdays, 8am - 12pm
