May 23rd was filled with magic as students participated in Disney-themed games that worked on cooperation and the skills they had learned throughout the year in PE.
On February 21st, we practiced the healthy habits shared by the American Heart Association. We learned the importance of moving more, drinking water, saying no to vaping/tobacco, eating healthy, being kind, and learning hands-only CPR.
November 27th was our school's Fall Fun Run! Students in grades K-2 participated in a 400M (1/4 mile) run while 3-6 did a 800M (1/2 mile) run. Our students had a blast running and participating in the post-run activities!
On September 25th, we celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new Don't Quit Fitness Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This state-of-the-art facility is a valuable resource for our students, faculty, and community.
To assess our students' fitness levels, we held a school-wide FitnessGram event. Students participated in a variety of fitness stations, including curl-ups, sit-and-reach, PACER, shoulder stretch, trunk lift, and push-ups.

We were excited to partner with the I Pa'a Ka Huewai Pawehe grant and Hip Hop Public Health to launch their new program HYPE Hawai'i. Students had a blast learning hula and hip hop moves, set to the music of talented Hawaiian musicians and dancers.
Our school participated in the Kids Heart Challenge, a fun and engaging event that raises awareness for the American Heart Association. Kamehameha's jump rope team kicked off the event. Our students participated in exciting activities, received a jump rope and a Heart Hero keychain, and learned the importance of taking care of our hearts.
