Postsecondary and Career Prepared


  • Fulfill diploma requirements in four years

  • Maintain a 95% or higher attendance rate

  • Commit no Chapter 19 offenses 

  • Earn an employability skills rating of 3 or higher 

  • Achieve one or more of the following:

      • Meet or exceed proficiency on the ELA SBA, Math SBA, or Biology EOC

      • Score 21 or higher on the ACT, 3 or higher on an AP exam, 4.7 or higher on the WIDA exam, or 31 or higher on the ASVAB

      • Earn Advanced Placement, Early College, or Senior Capstone credit

      • Earn an industry certification

      • Complete a work internship


Compassionate Leader


  • Fulfill a minimum of five hours of pre-approved service per year in the community or through AVID, NJROTC, or a JCHS club, program, service, or teacher


  • Complete one or more of the following:

      • Participate in any service-oriented school activity 

      • Hold a leadership position through student association, athletics, or an academy, department, program, or club

      • Present a solution to a problem in the community to an authentic audience


Innovative


  • Design a product, service or solution that addresses a community or industry challenge

  • Publish a digital portfolio 

  • Complete a Senior Capstone, AVID Service-Learning Project, AP Capstone, and/or STEM Capstone


Global Citizen


  • Pre-register or register to vote 

  • Complete a problem or place-based learning project with a focus on citizenship, culture, or community

  • Participate in financial literacy lessons

  • Achieve one or more of the following:

      • Earn a Hawaiʻi State Seal of Biliteracy

      • Earn credit in one or more courses with a global focus

      • Participate in a club with a global focus  

      • Earn two credits in the same world language
