Judge Expectations
The goal is to engage the students in conversation about their projects
Come to the event having read through each project in your gallery
Have an idea of aspects which you feel should promote the project forward, or areas you need clarified by the student
Have some questions formulated following your reading of the project online
A grading rubric will be provided (previous slide)
Use the sheet to rank the projects to which you are assigned (keep scoring sheets and comments hidden from student researchers)
Special/Regional Awards
Expectations for Special/Regional Award Judging
Judges to provide nominations for the special/regional awards.
There will be no deliberations for awards on the day of the event.
Judges will submit their nominations independently.
